2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the crags3d service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

3. The Service

crags3d is provided free of charge. It lets you view 3D scanned climbing locations and, where account features are enabled, add your own content to them — such as annotations, notes, markers, or lists relating to routes and topos. We may introduce new content types of this kind over time without changing these terms.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of the 3D scenes, topo data, and any annotations, notes, or other content you add within crags3d ("Your Content"). By uploading or adding Content, you grant Sanox Oy a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, transcode, and display it solely for the purpose of providing the service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and share Your Content. The following is prohibited:

• Content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Illegal or harmful content
• Content that violates applicable law

5. Embeds

Scene embed links and iframes may be freely shared and embedded on third-party websites, including for commercial purposes.

6. Takedown Requests

If you believe content hosted on crags3d infringes your rights, please contact us at [email protected] with a description of the content and the basis for your claim. We will review and act on valid requests in accordance with our obligations under applicable law.

7. Account Termination

You may close your account and stop using the service at any time.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Following account closure or termination, data is retained for up to 30 days before permanent deletion.

8. Availability

The service is provided on a best-effort basis, free of charge. We do not guarantee any specific level of uptime or availability. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, with reasonable advance notice of at least 180 days where practicable.

9. Climbing Risk and Liability

Climbing and bouldering are inherently dangerous activities that carry a risk of serious injury or death, independent of and in addition to any use of the service. Sanox Oy does not own, operate, inspect, or maintain any of the climbing locations depicted on crags3d.

Topos, route information, grades, hold markers, and any other annotations are provided for informational purposes only. They may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete, and on-site conditions (rock quality, vegetation, weather, hold or protection integrity, and similar factors) can change and may differ from what is shown. Nothing on the service is a substitute for your own on-site inspection, judgment, training, and appropriate safety equipment.

Sanox Oy accepts no responsibility or liability for any accident, injury, death, or property damage arising from or related to climbing at any location depicted on the service. Climb carefully, and at your own risk.

10. Privacy

Use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the service or by email with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the service after the effective date of the updated terms constitutes acceptance.
